imDocShare Admin On-Prem Admin User Guide

This document is an overview of the imDocShare Admin on-prem app 

Validating License Key 

Login to iManage 

For multi-tenant clients please also select the region when logging into our imDocShare Admin App: 

Once you have logged in you will be directed to our admin app home screen: 

You can see all the tabs on the left navigation panel:

You can access the admin users tab by selecting the tab on the navigation bar, once selected you will be directed to the screen below: 

Once you navigate to the admin users tab you will be able to assign roles to different users in your company by selecting the add user button as seen below: 

You can give users the following permissions. 

Admin

Sync Admin

Global Admin

Admin – able to Login netDocShare Admin app only. 

Sync Admin – able to login to the Sync portal and able to see their own sync jobs. 

Global Admin – can add others admin users and access Admin portal and Sync portal Global Admins are able to view other Admin sync jobs as well. 

Once you have filled out all the options above you can add the user by selecting the save button. 

In the valid domains tab, you can enter domains for use with imDocShare: 

By selecting the + icon you can add new domains here: 

iManage Settings

The iManage settings tab is used to configure and connect your iManage tenant to our admin app: 

  • License Key – Assigned by KLoBot Inc 
  • Client name – Assigned name as provided by Client 
  • Tenant Type – Cloud or On-Premises Tenant 
  • iManage Client ID – Generated from Adding an application package on iManage 
  • iManage Secret Key – Generated from Adding an application package on iManage 
  • iManage Service Name – Service Account created on iManage by Client 
  • iManage Service Password – Service Account created on iManage by Client 
  • Microsoft Client ID – Generated from Registering an app on Azure Portal 
  • Requirement for POST and CoAuthoring feature 
  • Microsoft Secret Key – Generated from Registering an app on Azure Portal 

Please fill out all the required information above to connect your iManage tenant to our imDocShare admin app, once you have filled out all the information, please select save on the bottom right of the page. 

For multi-tenant clients they can use the section under the “My License” section to configure their different tenants in our imDocShare Admin App: 

To configure a new tenant please select the Add Tenant button, you will see a popup window where you can add new tenants: 

Please fill out the required sections to add a new tenant: 

Tenant Name: 

iManage URL: 

Proxy Base URL: 

iManage Client ID: 

iManage Client Secret:

 

Once you have completed the section please select save to add a new tenant. 

Policies

On the policies page you can configure and change settings for all our imDocShare components and addonsOn this page you can set all the config settings for your teams, SharePoint and web config settings.  

Please use this page to set setting for our teams, SharePoint, and web applications. 

 

Policies include: 

  • Show Logo – (show or hide the imDocShare Logo) 
  • Show Log Out – (show or hide the logout option) 
  • Action Button – (different action button associated with our imDocShare Apps) 
  • Search Behavior – (search behavior for our search bar) 
  • Read Only View – (enables read only view where users are unable to make changes) 
  • Context Menu Options – (different context menu option associated with our imDocShare Apps) 
  • Enable Post – (enables the post option for our teams app) 
  • Default Metadata Columns – (configures the metadata columns for our apps) 
  • Source Type – (configure the source type, such as workspace, folder, or library) 
  • Asset Path – (Can configure an asset path to retrieve webpart Code & Assets) 
  • Config Manuel Editing – (enabling this will allow you to configure our SharePoint webparts using Jason code) 
  • Default Click Behavior – (Determines the default click behavior inside our Sharepoint webpart and teams app) 
  • Co-Authors Selection Setting – (can configure co-author selection settings to either allow external co-authors or not) 
  • Default Co-author Email – (can enter default email address when starting co-authoring) 
  • Populate team members as Co-Authors – (can enable or disable auto population when starting co-authoring)
